Billing and khata software for wholesalers
A wholesale counter runs on credit, on orders taken ahead, and on parties who are buyers one day and sellers the next. FastBilling is built around those three things.
Credit is the business, so the balance comes first
- Every bill is saved against the party, and what is unpaid carries forward by itself.
- Each party’s balance is in words — to receive, or to pay.
- The receivable report lists who owes you and how much, and the payable report lists who you owe.
- A party’s statement shows every bill and payment with a running balance, ready to print or read out when a retailer disputes a figure.
- A part-payment is taken against the bill it belongs to, in cash or to a bank account, so a bill shows what was paid and what is still due.
Orders before billing
A retailer phones in what he needs; a salesman notes down a shop’s order on his round. Neither is a bill yet, and neither should touch the retailer’s balance until the goods actually leave.
- An order records what was asked for and when it is wanted.
- A salesman can take orders on his phone without seeing the rest of the books.
- When the goods go out, the order becomes a bill in one step — all of it, or only the lines that are ready.
- An order never changes a balance. Only the bill does.
Parties you buy from and sell to
Wholesalers trade with each other. FastBilling keeps one account for such a party and lets one bill carry both what you sold and what you took, so the balance is the real net position rather than two figures to subtract.
Built for a busy counter
- Keyboard-first on a computer: find the party, add items, save and print without the mouse.
- Your price list, with a sale rate and a purchase rate for each item.
- An estimate of profit on a bill, from the purchase rate at the time — and it says “unavailable” rather than guessing when a cost is not known.
- Prints on A4 or on a thermal roll.
- A bill can be sent as a link, with a UPI QR to pay it.
- Works on a phone as an installed app, for the owner away from the counter.
- Separate sign-ins for staff, with their own permissions.
What it leaves out, on purpose
There is no GST, no stock or godown tracking, no barcodes and no payroll. Many wholesalers need those; if you do, FastBilling is not the whole answer. What it does is make the counter fast and the party balances right.
What it costs
₹99 a month for party accounts, ₹199 with itemised billing and printing, ₹499 with orders. The first 30 days are free and need no card.
Try it with your own parties
Thirty days free, no card. Add two or three parties and enter yesterday’s bills; that is enough to see whether it fits your counter.
Questions
- Does FastBilling do GST billing for wholesalers?
- No. FastBilling has no GST of any kind. It is for wholesalers who bill without GST, or who keep their party accounts and day-to-day billing separately from their GST filing.
- Does it track stock?
- No. An item in FastBilling is a name, a unit and its rates. There are no stock quantities, godowns or valuation.
- Can my salesman take orders on his phone?
- Yes, on the plan that includes orders. A salesman signs in on his phone and records orders; they are billed later from the same order, in one step.
