Print and share a bill
On paper, on a thermal roll, or as a link.
- Open the bill and press Print (F10 on the computer).
- Choose the paper size in Settings: A4, A5 or a thermal roll.
- Add your address, phone number and terms in the print settings so they appear on every bill.
Share a link
- Open a closed bill and press Share (Share link on the computer).
- Copy the link, or press WhatsApp to open a message to the party with the link in it. They can open it without signing in.
Good to know
- A shared link shows that one bill only. It never shows your costs, your profit or another party's figures.
- A receipt can be shared the same way. See Receipts and payments.
- A bill that is still open prints as an Estimate.
- A walk-in bill prints its Total only, so you can hand it over before the customer pays. See Walk-in customer.
- On a thermal roll the labels print in black and the item rows are a little larger, so the slip stays readable.
- Close on the print view closes that window on a computer. On a phone it goes back to the bill.
- To round every bill to the nearest rupee, switch on Round off the bill total in Settings, under Invoice. The Round Off line is added when the bill is closed; you do not type it.
- To print what the party owed before, tick Add previous balance on the printed bill while making the bill. The print then shows the previous balance, this bill, and the total balance. It is shown only: it is not added to the bill amount, and it does not appear on a shared link.
- When a bill prints a previous balance, its UPI code carries no amount. The customer types what they are paying, so they can pay this bill or the whole balance. The shared link still asks for this bill's amount.
